Structure

  • Rod Body: Usually, it is an elongated rod structure made of metal materials, possessing certain strength and rigidity to ensure stable operation during the ribbon weaving process without deformation or breakage. The surface of the rod body is generally polished to reduce friction with the weft and avoid damaging the weft.
  • Guiding Device: Installed on the rod body, it is used to precisely guide the direction of the weft. Common guiding devices include guide wheels and guide grooves. The guide wheel is generally made of wear-resistant materials and can rotate flexibly, allowing the weft to smoothly change direction as it passes through. The guide groove is a groove structure where the weft runs inside, ensuring that it advances along a specific path.
  • Tension Adjustment Mechanism: Some weft passing rods are equipped with a tension adjustment mechanism for adjusting the tension of the weft. This mechanism usually includes components such as tension springs and adjusting nuts. By adjusting the nut, the compression degree of the tension spring can be changed, thereby adjusting the tension of the weft.
